If It Is Not The Children Of Today, Then Who Will?

13 01 2011

Earlier this week the River House Outdoor Program work team was invited to join in the Parks and Open Space, Natural Resource crew’s quarterly team building meeting.  We started our morning with an invigorating walk and ended with an interesting discussion spurred by 3 videos about getting youth connected with nature.  Check out these videos yourself:

I’ve decided to share this blog post with my family and friends who have kids and/or who are influential with kids with the hope of educating more people about the benefits of nature.   Because as the second video says, “If it is not the children of today, who will?”

Please pass this on and share with us any ideas you have on getting more kids outdoors!!!  The time is now!
